Operations Director

Haleigh is the Operations Director for LFR International and a first-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. Her passion for emergency medicine began in 2018, when she became certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) and then volunteered for her local squad for three years. Now nationally certified in the United States through the NREMT, Haleigh hopes to pursue a career in surgery with a global focus. She has been involved with LFR International since 2020 starting as a pre-doctoral fellow, and has traveled to Uganda and Nigeria to implement local prehospital care systems. At Washington University in St. Louis, she helped run randomized trials to assess educational materials for c-spine immobilization and bleeding control and studied airway management training in resource-limited settings.
