Brody Mayoras, BA

Global Policy Team Lead

Brody is the Global Health Policy Team Lead and a graduate from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His interests in emergency medicine and public health were informed by his experiences working as an Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT-B). Outside of clinical work, he was inspired by mentors at Michigan and experiences leading the Global Surgery Student Alliance to pursue health policy work. He has been involved with LFR International since 2023, where he designed the organization’s official intervention evaluation framework, including the logic model, readiness to implement tool, and process evaluation protocols. With program sustainability in mind, he now leads efforts to characterize the state of legal and advocacy-based efforts related to Good Samaritan laws. Through policy research and stakeholder engagement, he hopes to partner with local leaders to establish legal protections for responders in LFR International training settings.
